It often involves a government or some power hidding the truth or controling the knowlage of the people. A huge example right now is China, and when Google tried to spread into China, they were banned because of how free their website is.In America on the other hand, has the First Amendment, which prevents the Government from censoring or preventing people from speaking their mind or learning new things.

Digital Divide has really became a problem nowadays, as Digital divide is the division between people who have access to the internet and those who do not. The Divide is a lot larger than you may think as much of the USA doesn't actually have as good internet access as others. Such as Maryland had better internet than California but New Jersey has the best internet access.This is important as that means some people can't do things like online school.
